African Daisy Wreath #1037 from EdMar.  Maria created this design for a friend of mine many years ago.   The graceful oval is nice to add names and/or date for a commemorative occasion.  The large African Daisy uses Nova and Lola;  the Creeping flowers use Lola, the Geron is Iris thread;  use Nova for the Palestrina knot border, the greenery is Iris ( allow 2 skeins ) and Glory.   Have some brown or yellow Glory handy for the Creeping flowers and Field flower French knots.  Design size is   10″  X 11″

Country Basket ~ #1032  EdMar design.    A small 3″ X 4″  sampler with a variety of flowers and basic Brazilian Embroidery stitches.  I like the wicker basket look.  Stitch Rolled Roses, Jasmin, Maria’s Rose, Bullion Rose, Cast-on flower, Eucalyptus, Fuchsia, Japanese Violet and Peach Blossom.  Stitches: Stem, couching French knots, bullion, cast-on, double cast-on, pistil, detached buttonhole….   Weights and colors Maria used:  Iris 351 & 126;  Glory 24, 104& 210;  Lola 001, 004, 008, 100, 114 & 126.   Package includes print design with cream fabric in wash out ink, instructions for stitches and flowers.

English Rose & Hummingbirds ~ 1606 by EdMar. A beautiful picture from nature. You will believe you are looking into a tree in the Secret Garden with lovely creamy English Roses and the detail of the greenery there is a Hummingbird and look there in a nest are 3 babies waiting to be fed. The Stumpwork wing gives you the visual of the Hummingbird hovering over the nest. Stitch instructions are found in Art of Dimensional Embroidery book additional instructions are enclosed in the design package. Printed on cream fabric Design size 12 X 14″ EdMar thread used: Lola #87 & 149; Iris #301 (allow 4 skeins) Iris #315 (allow 2 skeins); Glory #132 158 206 305 316 321 330 and Boucle #202. You also need one black seed bead.

GERANIUMS #1421 Geranium are stitched with Glory #65 other threads used: Iris #403 Glory #403 Gory #221 Bouclé #65.   Stitch and flower instructions are enclosed in the design package.

Grevillea ~ by EdMar #1705  Individual flowers from the larger Primavera design.  Instead of stitching one larger design, you can do 6 separate smaller designs – my kind of stitching – I prefer the smaller designs.  This set of designs will finish up nicely framed or use in the “Gift cards” ( in the Toys & Accessories department) Grevillea is native to Australia, New Guinea, New Caledonia, and Sulawesi. I had to look it up, never hearing of this plant.  I thought it looked like Wheat, except for the green.  Grevillea uses:  Glory  #202, 209, 230 & 323; Iris #053, & 128; Lola #305 and Frost #122.   Package includes printed fabric and complete instructions.  Design size    2.5 X 4.75″

IRISES IN POTTERY #1422 Iris are stitched with Lola #19. Fabric size is 8X10 and design is 2.75×3 inches Cream color fabric. Stitch and flower instructions included in package.

IRISES #1423 Iris flowers are stitches with Lola thread #54 Printed on cream color fabric Fabric size is 8X10 and design is 2.5×3 inches   instructions are included in package.

Here is a cute little EdMar Christmas Pine cone KIT  #K2054.  It includes the cream fabric print design, with the thread and needles.  The design size is approx.   2″ X 2″  so it will be quick to stitch and make up easily into an ornament or frame in one of the ‘Gift” cards ( in the  Stitching Necessities department )  It is very reasonably prices for a complete kit.  You may want to add a few red Holly berry beads.

Primavera complete kit ~  Stitch flowers and several critters in this beautiful and fun design. Primavera is for  beginners and enthusiast of all levels; enjoy all the flora and fauna of this remarkable design.  Kit includes the 32 page booklet with instructions for 18 stitches, 13 plants and 10 critters.  All are illustrated and photographed in color.  Fabric print design is 16.5″ X 5.5″ on 23″ X 14″ cream fabric. All EdMar rayon threads are presorted and labeled by weight and color for your convenience.

Three Jasmines ~ One of EdMar’s little single flower motif.  It is the perfect size to frame in one of the gift cards ( in the necessities department of E-store )  I refer to this design as a good Starter kit, since it has stem stitch, couching, leaves, bullion, cast-on, pistil and French knots – all into this one little design.  This is a complete little kit with the fabric printed design, instructions, needle and thread.  A nice way to introduce yourself or friend with Brazilian Embroidery.

Wedding Wreath / Anniversary Heart ~#1019 comes on a 12″ X 14″ fabric and the design is 7.5″ X 6.5″. Cream color fabric.  A lovely design alone or to frame names, dates or verses.  Good size for a pillow.  Instructions are included in design package.
